Aditech Train Destination Display – A classic, now featuring LED technology

Future-proof: The hassle-free switch from LCD to LED

For almost three decades, train destination displays featuring ADITECH’s LCD technology were a familiar sight on many platforms across Europe. Due to the global shortage of semiconductors and the sharp decline in the production of raw glass for large LCD displays, ADITECH was forced to discontinue its LCD product line in April 2024.

Our primary objective in developing the new LED successor products is to enable our customers to make a smooth and cost-effective transition to the new technology. Existing

LCD displays are to be converted to modern LED technology with minimal mechanical effort and low investment costs – without altering the familiar appearance for the end user.

One example of this is our 1:1 LED replacement for the 64×96-dot LCD panel previously used in train destination displays. This new LED module enables both the continuation of ongoing projects and the sustainable reuse of existing platform infrastructure
